Retro Telephone Microphone (w/ Volume Knob & 1/4" Mono Output) | Circuit Bent Telephone

Sold out $80.00

Made from a vintage Eggshell White colored AT&T Handset, this handmade circuit bent Telephone works as a functioning microphone with unique sonic characteristics. The microphone has been modified to include a volume knob which helps shape the lo-fi sound of the microphone and make it more useful for live performance or studio work. The microphone is in the earpiece and the volume knob is on the bottom along with the 1/4" Output Jack (TS).

You can watch the demo video to hear it in action- the sweep of the pot is very usable and you can turn it for swell effects and better control in experimental situations or during live shows! It has a great lo-fi and vintage sound that emphasizes the mid-range. It's a great studio tool for adding layers to vocals, special FX, and getting unique sounds that inspire you and the vocalist in the booth. This mic was modified with the same spec parts.

Output is 1/4" Mono Jack compatible with instrument cables (TS). High quality Neutrik brand output jack and high quality A-style potentiometer were used. This mic is in excellent condition but with a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide, it's looking frosty and tastefully vintage!

Telephone has been cleaned inside and out with isopropyl alcohol and will be sanitized again before shipping. It is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece of gear and the sound is unaffected by the finish- the pictured phone is the phone you will receive.
